TINT

My e90 feels so naked without tint so I will be taking it in tomorrow for tint. So I have a few questions. How dark should I go? What is a good percentage tint that I should get? Possibly so its not limo nor too clear. If you have any pics of your car that you'd like to share along with your experience please do.

lol yea i had 18% on my x5 and always wanted darker so i went 15 on this and i like it its not so dark it looks cheap but its drk enough the black interior makes it look worse than it is.

I like lighter tints on darker cars and darker tints on lighter cars...

I would recommend no darker the 20-35%. I would also suggest getting the same percentage around the entire car to create a better flow.

20s would be the lowest i'd go.. also +1 on the all around.. it's not a van or suv.

i have 35% but it changes so often its incredible. sometimes i doubt that theres even tint on it while it looks like limo at other times. just depends on the light so i dont really think %'s are that important but maybe thats just me

just got my car tinted yesterday.... 35% Maui law!
like it alot... would probably go down to 30%
washed the car today, was going to take a pic to post...
but the gf hid it from me!!! will post tom...

Lol u live in orange county, so u just need 35+ no need to go low unless you live out here in the desert.. Like it wouldnt be common to see 5% or 0% out here all the time

I ended up with going with 30% on my black on black ride. Looks good will post pics im just waiting on my grille b4 i shoot.

I've got 20% ceramic Llumar tint all around and LOVE IT! I'm considering redoing the back limo to fix the dot matrix, but after seeing the posts, having different % won't look as clean... I'll have pics tommorow for ya!

15 - 20% is the only way to go. Anything higher than that is a waste.
