Exhaust Question
AE or Vanguard exhaust?
Suggestions/Recommendations? I know that AE costs more, but ignoring that... what sounds better/has better performance? Does AE have less drone? Thanks for your opinions! |

Performance is minimal even with FBO. Go with what sounds best. I run AE + AR and get some drone at 55-60 mph if in 6th gear, easy fix is to go faster or downshift. Don't forget about BMW perf. exhaust, it sounds really good too.

Thanks - I did search and look at youtube videos, I just figured I'd ask for the opinion of people on here.
Additionally, there aren't really any side by side comparisons that I found, mostly all of them are individual reviews. And like you guys said, its one thing to hear the sound on a video and completely different to hear one in person - was hoping to get the opinions of someone who has heard them in person as well Great feedback so far guys, thanks. I'll check out the BMW performance exhaust as well. |

I'm very happy with the BMW performance exahaust. Not obtrusive if I shift at 3,000 or less, but has a nasty note at higher RPM's. I might be wrong,, but I think it is designed for the engine as much if not more than any other product.
