Yellow Angel Eyes

I have the Depo Projector90 headlight housings with LED Angel Eyes installed on my 2007 E90, and I am wondering if anyone knows of a way to install a yellow LED in as I like the look of it. If it is possible and I can use less specific parts what socket type or bulb type would I need?

Thanks,
-CB13-

Wondering if I might be able to see how this looks? I am still on the fence if I want to do this or not.

Thanks

did my best to capture the yellowness of the rings.

in reality its really yellow, difference you can tell from OEM color.

this is also at low output when the car is not running.

stock OEM bulbs. never messed with them because too many ballast issues with replacement bulbs.

jeff perhaps you should try on some yellow fog HID??? just switched on mine and looks 100% cleaner.

during day time... these are bright where you can see the yellow color and brings out exact shapes of the AE. def worth it IMO and sets you apart from everyone with white/bluish AE.

I could switch I have them lying around.

My fog lights are actually very white and match the OEM xenon headlights so thats why I have it this way.

Although for fog light purposes yellow would be better. I go through phases.

As far as the cleanliness on the yellow angel eyes, I couldnt agree more.

They are crisp in broad day light.
Illuminate the rings evenly and fully.

Also since its a regular halogen bulb, install is easy, no errors, and best of all it function just like an OEM bulb would.

Ive tried an array of LED/HID combos and always go back to the halogen for its simplicity and effectiveness in the angel eyes.

OK, now that I have settled into a new house and (should have been able to) am not running around again (oh wait work shipped me halfway across the country to live in a hotel for a few months haha) I am looking at this again. Just saw these pictures for the first time that you posted and damn that looks amazingly good. I love it, thanks for posting those by the way. I think my only problem is that I don't/didn't have stock AEs (or housings much less) I have the Depo90 Projectors. Is there an easy way to replace the AE housing? or should I just try to find a bulb that will work? I know (iirc after replacing the LEDs that came with it to a halogen bulb that the socket type in it is a miniature wedge 74 bulb. They are VERY small. Anyone have any ideas?

There are yellow LEDs. Whether they will be bright enough for the application is a different story.
