BMW GINA Light Visionary Model ~ Old Concept From 2008 But Still Cool

Hey all,

I came across this video of a BMW concept car from a couple of years ago that uses a fabric material as the skin of the car instead of the traditional metal. Take a look, it's pretty interesting.

Interesting...I wonder how crash testing will go with a fabric-built car....oh and now I see what the new Z4's are based on.

In the video I posted, the guy said all the safety structural components were still there, they are just covered with a stretched fabric instead of metal.
