Wattup Guys, I was wondering if anyone here can suggest a good restaurant. My girlfriend and i are hitting the big two this week and I can't think of a good place to celebrate with great food and awesome scenery. Help a indecisive forum member out lol. THanks in advance!

Fleming's in Edgewater. One of the best steak houses around.

Don't go to Chart House, great view but the food is mediocre at best.

like 150-2 and change is what i'm looking to spend.. Thanks for the look out about Charter House.. i was just about to make reservation literally two minutes ago...

I know the River Palm has pretty good food and theres a couple of them in Bergen County (Fair Lawn, Mahwah, and Edgewater)

I havent been to Fleming's so I can't compare the steaks but River Palm steaks are real good

Tapas de Espana in south Cliffside park is good too. Food is awesome and they usually have live spanish music (the authentic shit, not no culo reggatone daddy yankee bs)

thanks to everyone's suggestions!! I'm thinking Mc D's Dollar menu now cuz i just a gas tank is 57 bucks lol JKJK... Spanish food sounds good too!!! My girl is Korean but was partially raised in Argentina so that might be a good idea too, but Fleming's looks and sounds really good...

I live right there but it's still one of my favorite spots. Nice view, good service, and the filet never gets old. Palm is OK, haven't been to the on in NJ but if it's anything like in midtown west, didn't think it was a great date place. Plus the one in Edgewater has such small parking and I hate having to valet my car.

Looks good but seriously overpriced. Used to be big few years ago but the food is overrated, everything is soaked in butter. It's 80% decor 20% food. You'd get a better seafood from Crab House (5 mins north from there in Edgewater).

Damn forgot about Arthur's Landing.. that might be the place.. i got to go there once with my friend's mom who was a doctor and we were invited by pharm rep lol and it was awesome food! and great scenery.... MyE92 Good looks!!

If you don't mind going about 5 minutes north of Bergen County on 9W, Xaviar's in Piermont is world-class food. Go with the 5-course meal with wine pairings for each course for $100 / person. Took my girlfriend there a couple of months ago, doesn't disappoint. Zagat's usually has the food at a 29 (30 point scale, never seen any restaurant get a 30).

Good recommendation on Xavier's, Peter Kelly Xavier is pretty legit. His other places are good as well, I plan on checking out X20 soon...

I'm pretty sure that Arthur's Landing is closed.

There arent that many good restaurants in NJ.

However, you can't go wrong with Ruth's Chris. And Grissini (Englewood Cliffs) is a good Italian place.

You want fine dining? Make the trip to NYC.

Grissinis ok, the one good thing about that place is consistency but also overpriced. But you're right, there are far better places in NYC (that are even cheaper).

And I'd rather do Ruth's as well over Chart House...
