Dirty windows on inside, how do I clean them?
WAIT!
I understand how reading such a title would tickle the shit out of just about every smart ass on the internet, lol. My problem is that at some point along the way, presumably from my dog, the inside of my windows got dirty, repeatedly. While dirty, they were lowered, repeatedly. Now there is a build up of something on the inside "lower seal?" Such that anytime I lower then raise my window, it comes up disgusting; such that I can barely see into my side view mirror... If you do still feel compelled to bash; please, to your hearts content. Just leave me some advice in addition too. Thanks! |

Sounds like you need to clean the seal. I'd spray some glass cleaner around the seal, let it sit, try raising and lowering the window to get it in there. If that fails, step up to a stronger cleaner, maybe some type of degreaser? Good luck.
What kind of dog do you have - mine just leaves nose prints, LOL.

Thanks, I thought about a powerful degreaser (detailing product...) but I didn't want it to drip down and eat my clear coat anywhere.
Rhodesian Ridgeback. Nose prints I thought. Among other things it seems... |

i think the OP is saying theres something inside the door window seals that keeps getting the windows dirty each time he rolls down the windows.
if so, i would take it to the dealer. complain the window seals are defective and something is stuck inside. |

Clean the seals with a good degreaser like the P21S Total Auto Wash or the Optimum Power Clean. Roll down the windows, spray some on a rag and repeatedly wipe the seals down. Let them air dry and put the window back up. I would also recommend cleaning the interior glass with Chemical Guys Window Clean or something similar. Use one microfiber towel to apply it, using just enough product don't saturate it too much. Use a second clean microfiber towel to wipe off any remaining residue. Hope this helps!
