Can you please write a quick DIY, removal of the parts and rotating to TDC. I know its basic stuff but I'm just learning like everyone. Me and a buddy were able to install DPs today in 3.5 hours so were quick learners =D

Nice can you please shed light on your procedure? I'm sorry if you have already started a thread for this.

I made a quick diy. It's not pretty but it should help.

What you don't realize from the last 2 photos is how thick the walls everywhere but on the valves are coated including back behind the valves...valves themselves aren't bad but space around them is very closed up..

It's only air, and in some cases meth or no2, that pass through here correct? So.. aside from the carbon buildup causing a sealing issue (simple compression test), I can't see how this build up REALLY negatively affects the engine.. yet. Obviously in extreme cases it could alter the flow of air, but is it really that bad?
