GVA: Need new battery

Anyone know where can I get a new battery install and register beside the dealership in Greater Vancouver??

as in registering the battery for warranty? Any shop can do it.

Not for warranty purpose, I remember I read somewhere else said the E90 battery charging system needs to register and reset when installing a new battery.

I replaced my battery 2 months ago with one that matched the OEM one and did not register it. It's all good so far....

How long do the batteries in the E90/E92 last? 4 years? 5?

I think it matters how long you drive between starts and how many gadgets are powered by your battery.
I had the OEM battery for almost 6 years, but I never took the car for 5 minutes drives or do I have a lot of gadgets...average 5 years I say...
