Are the tips scratched or is it just dirty?

no scratched at all on the tips, as u can see its still plastic wrapped. the wrap only taken off while i try to use some wheel wax on it.
there are minor scratch on the pipe that weld the muffler and the tips, and some black dirt, not visible while u mount it on, if u are really picky it could be polish out.
the brown color are not dirt, they weld the tips to those smaller pipes and weld it to the muffler.

No cause i never mount it. You could search on youtube. It is a softer sound muffler than most aftermarket exhaust but still loud enough if u delete the res
