FS: 2003 VW GTI 20th Anniversary
I know this isnt a BMW but I figured i should post this on as many websites as I could. I have a 2003 Volkswagen GTI 20th Anniversary that I would rate as an 8/10. The vehicle has 81xxx miles on it and its my daily. I work about a mile away from home so it doesnt get alot of wear and tear on it. It has a powerful 1.8T motor thats great on gas and when the turbo engages it pulls hard. It has a full recaro interior and a six speed manual transmission. Clutch is in good shape, all of the seats and dash are also in good shape. It has great stock 18 inch wheels that I believe are BBS made. I have recently replaced most of the important hoses for the coolant system with OEM parts because of a leak. Also had a tune up done on the vehicle which includes a K&N air filter, cabin air filter, fuel filter, NGK spark plugs, both O2 sensors (Bosche), and a red top Optima battery. Car will also come with 5 quarts of royal purple and a K&N oil filter for the next oil change due at 82500. The car needs some work currently that I may have some done by the weekend depending on my work schedule. The car has a check engine light which I believe a bad vacuum line because I can hear an air leak which would be the easiest scenario, worst being it needs an EGR valve that retails for $160 shipped but my mom is going to Mexico in a few weeks so I may get the part from over there and put it on myself or give to the new owner depending on what you want to pay for. The only other thing that you could consider major work would be some upholstery work which I was quoted $350 to fix, I can disclose the number to the shop where I got the quote from to the new owner if you want. The things that need to be reupholstered are the pillars, door panels, and one square patch that covers the sunroof motor. It doesnt look bad but I am picky and I like to have everything as perfect as possible on my vehicles so you can decide. The body of the vehicle is great condition, I counted 3 dimples on the entire body. I would repaint the front lip because the paint is showing wear because the vehicle sits so low that it will scrape on inclines but like I said I'm picky. The car has an H.I.D system on it. One of the bulbs went out yesterday and the new bulb costs about 20 bucks on ebay.
I'm pretty sure thats everything, if I think of anything else i will post it later. I am currently looking for 10250 firm as is. I will be trying to fix the car on my days off, so the price will steadily go up as I get things fixed on it.
