Is 17.3psi safe??

Hi guys! I have an 07 e92 with full bolt-ons. I'm currently running procede, as last week I was on maps 1-21 and the Autotune tuned my car at 17.3 using 100oct.
Last week I updated the maps to 3-30 and since the autotune is off for this maps I went ahead I set the max boost at 17 just because the autotune on maps 1-21 Automatically tuned me at 17.3 so I figure it wound be safe to do so.
Let me know what you guys think! Thanx!

Logs are up guys!!! the log 1 is very short. log 2 and 3 i did 2nd and 3rd gear pulls the drovo normal for a short period of time. thanx for all the help

Shiv has stated not to run at such high boost with the new DIC maps. But with your mods + 100 octane I don't see you having problems at 17psi.

really i think you should run that boost in really shortbursts i was talking to some of the people from active and they where telling me how anything above 15.5 is really pushing the little turbos

IMO i think it should be ok with 100 octane.

BUT, run some logs just to be sure.

My procede sometimes autotunes to 16.8 PSI on pump gas (on cold days). So 17 PSI on 100 octane fuel should be very safe.

Is this the peak boost your P3 guage is showing? If thats the case then it's showing a spike of 17.3. You would need to show a data log to show how much psi it's holding steady at.

If you are running Windows, then open up your log, and press the Print Screen button on the keyboard. Then open up Microsoft Paint and choose Paste. Your screen shot will appear in Paint, then all you have to do is choose Save, and save the file as a JPEG. Then upload it.

Since the implementation of autotune and such people have lost the fundementals of tuning.

Everything starts with logs.

Do a log from 3rd gear.

Capture

Throttle
Ignition
Boost
AFR
WGDC

at a minimum.

From there you should get a good idea of whether to increase or decrease boost.

IF you are running full bolt ons on 100 octane. 16-17 PSI would likely be ok. However a DATALOG would ensure its ok.

I wonder if a little less boost and a little more ignition advance might give you more power
