How much savings can you get from doing an ED? Has anyone done it?

I honestly think that there is no longer any discount for getting an ED. There was back in '08 when I bought my M3 (no ED though) but I am sure there was none when I bought my wife's '11 335xi 1 year ago.

I did ED last month. There are no savings with the Canadian program.

Man Canada sucks. We are already paying crazy prices and you don't even get a discount doing ED...

Think you got the wrong interpretation of ED... read up on Canadian vehicle import laws

No, you can only buy a Canadian spec vehicle. The program allows you to take delivery in Germany and then drive your new car around Europe before it is shipped over to Canada.

You wait long enough for the ED have a lot of fun in Germany and surrounding Europe (with a car under break-in limitations) then after dropping your car back off you wait. And wait.

It took 38 days from drop off to get to my dealer. Those 38 days seemed like forever!

Only downside about ED. Everything else was fantastic. They treat you like a star at the BMW Welt.

No savings, I didn't do the ED for savings, I did it for experience...

agreed with everything he said. Did my ED in last june. Cant wait to do it all over again.
