Is it possible for me to install an LCI trunk lid on a pre LCI 2006 e90 (sedan) and simply order the LCI lights to finish the switch? or is there alot more involved?

The LCI trunk lid will fit on your pre-LCI e90. Same with the lights. After the physical parts are changed, I think there's some coding involved as well.

Not sure. Check your local forums to see if anyone other than a dealership does coding in your area.

do it yourself because dealership will charge a couple hundred from what i hear.

invest in a ~70 dollar cable, i did it and i have no prior experience with coding.

Try and not do it at the stealership. It might run you more. Just find someone with an autologic tool. Cost me about $90.
