Is it possible to get service any retrofitted and coded parts at official BMW dealer?
I am just wondering if someone add and install any OEM elctronical parts on their car by "retrofiting and codding" to the part, is it possible to get service the retrofitted parts at BMW dealer on the condition that the retrofit parts succesfully retrofited and coded from private shops?
Does BMW Mechanic NOT realize the retrofitted parts whether the parts was retrofitted or not? , and does official BMW electronical diagnosis devices at dealer recognize the retrofitted parts just as original factory parts like the car had already equipped with the retrofitted parts? If everything is fine to get service the coded and retrofitted parts at dealer, is there no potential safety issues to the coded and retrofitted parts in the future? Please reply this question and sorry for bad English grammer Thanks in advance! |

If you did the retrofits by just changing the VO, then everything will be fine. If it was an FSW_PSW change, then it may get set back to default when they program your car.
