Am I Screwed?
So I had beautiful results with these steps: Menzerna 106FA w/ white pads Menzerna 85RD w/ black Pads Blackfire Wet Diamond w/ Blue pads (1 coat) Unfortunately, rain has entered the forecast. I was able to get 1 coat of Blackfire on, but I would have liked to layer it. Problem is, I have to drive in the rain tomorrow. Should I just re-wash and apply another coat of Blackfire? The rain won't undo the layer I put on already, right? After tomorrow, it should be sunny skies. I also want to put on a coat of Natty Blue paste wax. I read I have to wait 12-24 hours between coats. |

There probably is no benefit to a second coat of BFWD but if you desire to apply it, all you need to do is wash the car and apply a second coat. 8-24 hours between coats of modern wax/sealant is a normal recommendation.

You can surely just wash and apply another coat. If you choose to go with a lower durability product that offers more etching protection (wax), you can certainly do that too. The choice is yours.

Glad to hear it came out "lovely".
Just like others, you are good to go, in fact I tend to recommend waiting just a bit(a day, a week, whatever fits the schedule) and then adding a coat of protection after a wash. Do we get to see some pics? |
