Bell's Expedition Stout
Does anyone else drink this? Honestly, if it weren't for the few empty bottles on the counter the next morning, I don't think I would even know if I drank it or not. This stuff is like liquid crack. So if you do dig it, let me know now before you forget.
For reference: http://www.ratebeer.com/Ratings/Ratings-Top50.asp Number 10! :rocks: If not, then what's your favorite beer? |

Never heard of it; according to the site it's not available here. My fave is Legend Lager.

We can't get Bells, or any other decent beer, here in middle TN, aside from Bridgeport (Portland) and some Brit imports.
I'll keep my eyes open for the Bells Stout, though, when travelling. Thanks for the tip. Last edited by Neurorad; 03-26-2007 at 10:38 AM.. |

I was excited to see Dogfish Head ales, and some Atlanta Brewing Company beers locally here in TN last weekend. Stocked up! 60, 90, and continually hopped IPAs from Dogfish Head are incredible!
Huzzah! New, good beer comes to middle TN! |

Yeah, love the Raison d'Etre, their barleywine ale. I have a six or so aging in the cupboard. I just had one of their bourbon stouts the other night; I think they age the beer in barrels that previously held bourbon.
I've been avoiding the barleywine ales in general, lately, they just put me to sleep. Though they are realllllllllllllllllly tasty! |
