Exclamation Help with solution

I'm a regular on a few sites, just not this one, but I lurk on here and find a lot of answers.

Now to the bad part... My dad has a 335xi auto. It has the JB4, bigger intercooler, catch can, dual cone intakes, downpipes (Yeah, on the xi) and the straight though mid pipe.

Once I got rid of all the cats... the car started to releases a lot of smoke out of the exhaust. Figured okay... got some oil somewhere... it'll burn off right?

No. Its been about 3 weeks now and still white-ish maybe blue (Defiantly oil) smoke when you let off the gas.

When you're WOT no smoke though... only when you let off.

Bad turbo? I'm truly not sure how to properly diagnose it.

And, say, it is a bad turbo... whats next?

Here is a video of the car 2 weeks ago at the 1/4 mile. It ran a 12.8 at 108mph.

Thanks

I still do not think that the absence of cats should reveal that much smoke. Perhaps I'm wrong but I do not think that much oil consumption is normal.

Yes. In fact, it was after the three 1/4 mile runs that the "Low Oil" message popped up.

Bad turbo(s) likely. If not, hurt motor. Get a compression test. If it's okay, get some new turbos.

I will be doing a compression test as soon as I get my hands on the BMW tool to remove the spark plugs.

I had assumed it was the turbo, but upon reading more, it seems that this car also suffers from the "waste gate rattle". I'm wondering if this would have any effect on the smoking?
