Removed n55 JB+ and installed JB3 Stage 1...
I just removed the N55 JB+ due to some inconsistencies I was experiencing. Mike@n54Tuning.com rushed me the new N55 Stage 1...... and all I gotta say is WOW! I know on paper they are similar, but the butt dyno doesn't lie.
Where I barely felt a difference with the JB+... the Stage 1 is absolutely undeniable. Even in 3rd gear @ 40 MPH, then WOT... holy crap... the pull is VERY impressive. I run 93 octane, a Vishnu 3.5 catless dp and the Remus Race setup... I wish I had this tune when that Sti Wrx played with me this past weekend. So far, this configuration is just hitting hard. Still waiting on that aFe CAI ... what up **********s??? anyways...... for those of you on the fence and want a affordable tune that is VERY easy to install, this is fantastic. I need to dyno now to see where I'm at, but the car feels very strong now, very pleased and can't wait until adaptation is done. Also... where is stage 2???

I'm glad to hear this has worked out for you. I sent my JB+ back as well for the N55 Stage 1, unfortunately I need to wait as my car was manufactured in March 2011, so the harness needs to be changed... BMW changed the connectors in Feb. 2011. I can't wait to have a tune in this car... ughhh... Congrats! enjoy it! |
