quick question... to change the MAP from <default MAP 1> to MAP 5, do I simply select it in the dropdown menu......... and that's it?

Do I have to Save... if so where? How can I verify it stayed in MAP 5?

Looks like you have the wrong interface. All the N55 Stage1 directions and software are posted here:

I downloaded the stuff you pointed me too... hmm.

Edit: Ok... I uninstalled the original interface... cleaned registry, then installed this one (n55) which should have been fairly obvious from the beginning.

Edit #2: It appears as though this new n55 interface shows MAP 5 - which is good.
Since this interface is different, am I to assume the MAP definitions (As seen here: http://n54tech.com/forums/showthread...t=jb3+software is still accurate?


Where are the N55 Stage 1 Mapping definitions?

No. You don't have a JB3. You have an N55 Stage1. The maps, software, etc, for it are all in the link I posted. To switch maps just connect and pick the map you want in the drop down box.
