No real need to; just order it and install it in your car...you'll be amazed what an extra 60WHP and 90-100 lb.-ft RWTQ will do to your 335i. You'll be driving a whole new BEAST with a huge grin glued to your face!

Hey Sflgator, did you get yours?
Got your Procede yet? My car I ordered for June is now unknown. Maybe July or who knows when. That really sucks. Apparently BMW is out of Turbos demand is way up and they don't have production capacity. Hmmm, the wait the wait!!! My Autobahn Procede influenced storming dream is looking threatened!

It's interesting that you heard that BMW is having some sort of turbo shortage; I find that hard to believe, especially since not only are these twin turbos used for the 335i, but this N54 engine is also going into the new '08 535i as well. Well, if it's true, I'm sure they'll be ramping up production very quickly since the MY '08s are just around the corner.

Cool, i'm also in Miami and looking to get a procede in the near future. Where do you guys go for springs install? I need to find a place to install some H&R. Most places I called is asking $250-400.

Spring Installation in Miami
I think you can look for a place in Hialeah that install springs.
The name of the place is "El Resorte" (spring in English). I called and they queoted me $25.95 for the installation. Only in HIALEAH!!! |

SFLgator please post a review!
Nice to see you finally got the Procede, man seemed like you were waiting for ertanity. Congratulations!!!! Anyway been following your threads and reviews from day one and like your review especially since you were one of the original beta testers. I had a ride in Clem's car and its was faaast! But its a stick. I am actually getting a steptropnic so I would appretiate your view.
How long is the Procede wait? I should probably be asking Shiv that question. Also how how is the difference now? Do you really notice it? As one of the earliest adopters I have been waiting to see how long it takes before you sort of get used to your car and stop praising it... Today I finally got my production number, delivery date confirmed too! I ordered back in mid February, and will pick up June in Munich. Damn things are moving at a glacial pace. Really slow. Wait, wait, and wait!

In my XEDE-equipped 335i under 1/2 - WOT (when the turbo boost really kicked in), it was like ..."OMG...hold on!!!!" So far, with the PROcede, it feels more like it did when it was stock, only faster. The boost is definitely stronger than stock (and HP/TQ are definitely increased) as with the XEDE, but it pours on the power more like it did when it was stock...in a smoother, more gradual way. The XEDE, however, was a much more sudden 'bang...the turbos just kicked in' feeling. Shiv has assured me that my now PROcede-equipped 335i is just as fast if not faster than my XEDE-equipped 335i. I think I just need to get used to it, and I'm sure as I do, I'll like it even better than when I had my XEDE controlling things. After all, I've been driving an XEDE-equipped 335i for more than 5,000 mi. over the past 3 months (I've got ~ 6,700 mi. on my car now), so it will take some time getting used to how the PROcede handles the HP/TQ.

sflgator, have you ever dynoed your car? I got my procede in my coupe, and I want to dyno it to see how much exactly its putting down at the wheels.
When i put in my Procede, i sort of felt the same way like you did when you changed from xede to procede. I thought going from stock to Procede would be a bigger difference. But after driving it for a couple days, I am starting to realize the power. I do want to dyno the car just to make sure though. |

Stock dyno: 265 WHP / 286 lbs.-ft. RWTQ XEDE dyno: 322 WHP / 378 lb.-ft. RWTQ, + 57 WHP / +92 RWTQ Although I haven't put my PROcede-equipped 335i on the dyno, based upon my timed runs and "feel," I'd have to say that my car now has at least that much HP/TQ to the wheels and more than likely, a little more ; probably somewhere around 330 WHP / 380 lb.-ft. RWTQ.
