JB4 Map 7 Track Day with Logs

So on friday I went to Island Dragway just to get some logs and times with the new DP's I put in. I'm pretty satisfied with the times but just cant seem to figure out why my trap speed is kind of low. I got about 6 runs in and all of them were averaging around 12.4 with a trap speed of 112. My best time was 12.310 @ 111.40 which was my 4th run. I didn't let the car cool down and ran back to back since they were about to close. My tank was pretty empty this time so I put about 6 gallons of 100 octane on map 7. Can anyone take a look at the CSV and let me know what may be wrong ? Maybe I am pulling timing up top ?

Mods are:
UR Downpipes
BMS DCI
JB4 Map 7

Everything else is stock including the stock RFT tires.

Thanks !

The log looks pretty solid to me. Considering your IAT exceeded 150 degrees you did great. If you got some cooldown between runs I suspect you would have done better. You could have gotten away with more boost as well.

What I want to know is how you managed a 1.6x 60ft on street tires. is your car an x-drive?

Exactly, how did you manage that kind of traction? Lot of VHT? What kind of tire pressure, burnout? How was the weather/temps?

And yes, for those high IATs, heatsoak, limited mods, etc, you did great!

12.31 @ 111+ is making use of every damn bit of power. Great launch. How I despise the automatics and their launching abilities...

haha yeah, I am an x-drive so burnout was out the question lol. As I was logging, I saw the IATs hit around 175 at one point. Thats when I decided to stop running which was after the 6th time down the track. X-DRIVE + Automatic does wonders at the track....

What do you guys suggest, meth or IC first ? I def need to keep the IATs down since they get high way too fast !

Get both

And u ran great for an xi. Keep in mind you have higher drivetrain loss and more weight than the regular 335i. Now I wish I didn't fall asleep if I knew I'd have 6 runs

Logs look OK. Cool down time is what you needed.

You need intercooler or meth for sure! Let me know if I can help you out.

lol you prolly would have more than 6 runs as it was almost emtpy. There were a few SRT-4s, EVOs, GTOs, and vettes...in which all got a spanking by the N54 Let me know when you're going, I wouldnt mind taking a few more logs.

As for the launch, I brake boosted up until 2800 - 3000k and let go. It took off like a bat out of hell. My tire pressure was horrible also. Im sure had I adjusted the tire psi, the times might have been better.

Themyst, what kind of meth kit are you running ?

Very nice times! There is nothing wrong... you just need supporting mods as the rest pointed out
