Update for the Progman 25 update??!

Just got an email from my BMW service dude. He says that 25 is in but that there is an additional online component being released this week and that I should wait for that.

Any ideas what that is or is he just blowing smoke?

Its 25.00.02

It apparently has a extra little thing for E9x, but I dont know what.

Its often a fix to a slight error in the main update that affects certain cars

Another board reported 25 broke RTTI and 25.00.02 fixes it. Lets hope this isnt true. http://www.bimmerfest.com/forums/sho...5398&p=2262471

We just finished updating for the .02 version. I also nabbed the E90 complete vehicle book from my foreman...so I will be pouring through that for the next few weeks (its a pretty thick book)

Is it true 25 breaks RTTI and 25.02 fixes it? Its good info to know for the few that will come here looking for answers after getting v25 last week & this week.

I just got the V25.00.00 and it is awesome except it blew out my voice activation. gotta go back and submit a puma.

Got the 25.02 installed yesterday (3/28). Everything seems great with it, except now I'm having a variable fan speed issue. I'm taking it back in on monday. I also had sirius installed and that works great, too. Since I had to reprogram my vehicle once I got it back, I'm assuming they disconnected the battery. I hope the fan issue isn't related to the new software.

Got 25 installed yeterday and now no voice activation. Dealer said 25.02 takes care of that problem. So back to the dealer next week. Since I have a US spec in Germany they said they have to request the software in English (US) version.

I am getting scared. Does this BMW company know what it is doing ? I read about all kinds of issues in nearly all threads in this forum on the new 3 series models.

I have a loaded 335i cabrio on order giving up my PERFECT 330ci cabrio. Not sure I made the right decision !!
