Dinan Free Flow Exhaust - Installed
Today I got the Dinan free flow exaust installed. The sound on this exhaust is so incredible it humbles my heart when I start the car. Its a more bold, mature, and aggressive sound from the stock exhaust.
Benefits:
Cost: $1,599 after a $299.99 discount. {Currently now selling the stock muffler exhaust open to offers} ![]() ![]() I cant say off top if I noticed are difference in power out put. I was cruising around most of the time just enjoying the sound ![]() Last edited by BQTuning; 05-19-2011 at 08:50 PM.. |

The sound on the Dinan FFE sounds alot better than the BMW performance exhaust and I believe better weight reduction also. In addition, I will be going with Dinan S3 flash that was developed to go with the Dinan FFE only and not the BMW performance.
The only thing I would get from the BMW performance is the bigger fan for the main radiator and the second rad if there is a way to get it to fit with the Dinan CAI. |

That might be the best sounding exhaust for the N54 to date. And the price was spot on with your discount. I just wish the tips where a lil fatter, but that can be adjusted with $150. Nice exhaust.

The Dinan does sound good though and it's more "exclusive". Pretty cool to have the logo on the tips too ![]()

Any problems running the Dinan exhaust system vs the OEM set up which included the tailpipe flapper?
Addendum - Just off the phone w/ Dinan. Answer is no, the software is programed to run w/o the extra back pressure. Last edited by shortseller; 07-22-2011 at 02:46 PM.. |
