RR Evoque

I've been waiting for this one...

Pricing has been announced at $54k! but that's for the povo pack manual diesel..
The good looking sports model is high 60s?
3 door 'coupes' will carry a $1500 premium

Still not sure if I'd actually buy one.. but I'd definitely test drive one and pick up some brochures etc.

nah I never said manuals were better than the DCT.. I admit the DCT is faster but it's not all about speed. Besides if I wanted a fast car I'd buy a 335, not an M3

I wonder how long the looks will stay 'fresh'... and what the resale will be.

And yeh the car looks tiny next to those two tall people!

Hmm how to describe Hektiks... I guess the vehicle of choice of a hekitk involves chromies, a drivers seat reclined to about 45 degrees, some sort of hoodie/cap covering their greasy hair and usually the bread to sausage ratio inside the car is on the unfavourable side.

I must say as a fellow hectic the five door luxo model has caught my attention. Interior looks suave...all da armo fatimas will digg it. I reckon its worth having a look at this for "the business".

Suff any details you wanna give about when you 'put your name down'... ie did you give 'em cash or anything?

I'll go speak to a dealer this weekend, get some more info.

IMO for the price (which isn't cheap at all compared to an X3 when the Evoque is X1 sized) you're only getting some average I4 engines which really don't cut it.

If they chucked the twin turbo 3.0L TDV6 from the Disco and RRsport into it that might get my attention.

It would be a deal breaker if it is the same size as the ugly X1...hate that car with a passion.

It's actually slightly shorter than the X1. MUCH smaller than an X3 or a family hatchback
