Ok so I went down to a local exhaust place and I said to the guy "I want to make my car sound very aggressive. Not looking for preformance." And I said what do you reccommend? And he said You need new mufflers and tips...I can put on magnaflow or elite exhaust on and and it will cost you 795 + tax.

#1. Do I need need new mufflers and tips for a louder/better/aggressive sound?

#2 795 + tax? Price check???

#3. anyreccomendations for sound not preformance(at a fairly cheap price?)

#4. Any Local recommendation in SOCAL?

Any help would be much appreciated!

$795 is a VERY expensive price just for mufflers and tips. I've been quoted at $750 installed for a custom catback that is up to the first set of cats. The shop is in Burbank, CA. Another member, AlVin, already got his 335i done there. Check out the vid posted by Longtran.

If you want just sound, buy some mufflers and weld it on to the stock pipings. That should run $200-300 or so.
