Metropolitan detail inbellevue, Jon and Ben are awesome. I have never had my car there (soon) but I have worked around them before and I know for a fact that they both take pride in there work. Worth the price.

Can you catch the scratch with your finger nail? Then they wont be able to polish it out. Call Metropolitan and talk with John and tell him TJ referred you.

Metropolitan is kind of pricey. Accutint NW in shoreline. Great work and great prices. Call and ask for Greg (owner) tell him Ahmed referred you. Great guy and excellent work.

id look for a place local to you. maybe go to the body shop that you went to when your car got hit? body shop can polish off a light scratch no problem. + u wont have to come all the way up north. winning.

I wouldn't a body shop polish it out because it will make it worse.

Then they can polish it out. Metropolitan is pricey because they are the best shop in the NW. I know John personally and he'll give you a good deal!

Since you live in UP, you could try giving Scott's Detail a call. It's just off South 35th and Union (like 3 blocks from Highway 16 Union exit). I took my car there a little over a year ago just for the sake of convenience because I work across the street and could have it done while working. They did a pretty good job...my Jet Black car came out pretty swirl free. And it was only $200 for a full detail, interior and exterior (they don't treat/condition the leather though in that cost). I believe the exterior includes washing, claying, polishing and waxing. I'm going to take my car back there again very soon, just waiting for the next time it's not suppose to rain for at least a few days.

Body shops have polished out scratches for me several times over the years with no problems at all. keep in mind, body shops paint cars, they typically know how to look after scratches in paint.

Good for you buddy. They might be able to polish the scratch out, but it'll end up looking like this

a shitty detailer could do worse as well... whats your point? you do business with shitty shops (detailer or body shop), your car will look like shit.

take your car to a reputable shop, they will take care of you.

Most body shops are not detailers since they know most of their customers don't know shit. I've been to only a couple of shops, and only one had full time detailers.

A shitty detailer can do that too, but Metropolitan does quality work so I don't know what you're talking about.

Man, chill guys... Anyways, i went to a local detail shop for 354.00 and they got certain scratches out.... I know for a fact they didnt polish and cut (they only polished the hood, top of the trunk, and the sides)... They couldnt even get minor scratches off the trunk. I asked kindly to buff it out, but they only hand waxed it in the back. Next time, im driving up north...
