Completely new to detailing, need major help
Car is a 2006 330i Black Sapphire Metallic on Black Dakota Leather. Roughly 53xxx on it. It seems as thought the car washes in the area are getting more expensive and less effective, and I'm starting to be more meticulous on how I take care of the car.
I am a complete newbie at this so I need all the help I can get. I want to get everything, from the bucket and shampoo, to the rags, to the clay, polish, sealant, wheel cleaner, tire dresser, leather cleaner/conditioner, quick detailer etc. If getting an all in one would be more cost efficient for the polish/sealant (I am not OCD) then that would be preferred along with the proper tools to apply it with. I am also not sure what kinda of waxes/sealants or what have you were put on the car when it was detailed approx 16 months ago, so I am wondering if stripping down any previous coatings would be beneficial before I start taking care of the paint myself. But no matter what the car is in need of a clay, so that I need. BUT I AM ON A COLLEGE STUDENT BUDGET. So if anybody could help me out I'd greatly appreciate it.
