Updating the Look of E90 Headlights
Hello everyone!
A friend of mine who owns a 2007 328i has asked me to help him update the look of his car by doing a few exterior modifications such as a black grille, different tail lights and so on. He wants to start by doing something about his headlights. Currently, he has the basic non-xenon halogen headlights. While xenon projectors would be preferred, we are on a bit of a budget so those are out of the question. Instead, I discussed with my friend the possibility of an HID conversion and perhaps angel eyes as well. Unfortunately my area of expertise is not the e90, so we have come here looking to have a few questions answered: 1. Are there cost effective HID conversion kits available for his e90, or should we instead just go for some new, whiter bulbs, like these: http://www.khoalty.com/bmw-e90-e92/l...gen-bulbs.html 2. Is it possible to install angel eyes on a car that doesn't have xenon headlights and if so, how does that look? 3. Lastly, I have been looking at the usual vendors I go to for accessories for my e46 but I've so far been disappointed as the lighting options for E90s seem somewhat limited, can someone recommend a good retailer to purchase some lighting upgrades from? Thanks a lot! |

You can also go straight to OEM LCI halogens with the AEs for about the cost of Depos.
I think this is the route I'd go in your position, but must admit I'm a bit spoiled by my xenons and may change my mind after living without them for a bit. |

I have a set of converted pre-LCI xenon lights for factory halogen cars for sale. No coding, plug and play.
Check out the link for more details. PM me if interested. http://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=559508 |
