n55 Procede v5 update

Well as many of you remember a few of us were having problems with the procede and the n55 with the car shutting down due to lack of fuel.

Seemed like everything Shiv and I tried to do just wouldn't work.

Well I have great news for anyone who is still experiencing this. A few weeks ago I went to BMW to update my DME and tada! The problem is GONE! It seems as though it was due to an older software DME on my car.

My best ET is in my sig and that was with 12.5psi and the car dying up top. Hopefully I can get that number down and my trap speed up by cranking the boost up a bit.

With that said, SHIV hurry up and get me some METH!

did it happen to all n55s or what, mines coming this week should i get my ecu updated before install. word on the meth kit

It was happening to a few of us. But I would recommend you update your DME before just in case.

Well, it never happend to me but I never hit the track yet. From pulling to redline in a few gears though I feel that I dont have this problem. My car was built in Sept-Oct 2010.

Mine was pre may 2010

you're talking about the 2.40+ de-tuning updates right? there are many minuses to the update but it seems there are some pluses as well.

Ernie, what maps are you currently running? Have you experienced any SEL or half engine lights since the DME update?

Yup. Running the 2.42 sw as well. Buti heard 2.43 is out now.

Its super hot and humid down here. My friend with a FBO+meth 335i was only hitting 12.8's @ 110 this weekend. I hit a 13.3@104 but only at 14psi.

A m6 that was there also hit a 13.3 and a e92 m3 was hitting 14.2s all night long
