Smile Procede V5 dyno "low boost"

Our shop car:
2007 335 6MT
80k miles
FBO
ASR turbos with upgraded actuators (installed yesterday)
v5 5-10 maps (upgraded turbo beta map)
Vishnu PWM meth system
Vishnu Fuel system (prototype)
91oct plus 75/25 meth/water mix

Only running 17psi (70%) boost setting. Will play around with higher boost (20-21psi) once we are running race gas + meth in a few days. We are targeting a full 17psi to 7000rpm. No misfire. No top end roll off. Seems to hold power up top quite well. The upgraded actuators also seem to help boost control in a big way. I'll post up some datalogs in the next post of last night's road testing.

Here are some more runs at a 17.5psi boost setting. Pretty consistent. Especially for 91oct+meth.

Loving the absolutely no drop off up top. You could use it as a book shelf without book ends.

Can't wait to see 20psi+!

Can those actuators be installed on any turbo upgrade or are those specifically only working with the ASR?

Holy balls! Nice work, I can't wait for my new turbos now! 482 hp @ 17 PSI / 91 Oct is insane.

What did the AFR hit around 5700 RPM? Any reason for the increase there?

On that run, the leanest on-boost AFR was 12.58:1 at 5700rpm. That was my 3rd run of the day so I was still in the process of mapping. Here are AFR logs for more runs. I have more than enough fuel to play with so it's just a matter of dialing it in right.

Well done Shiv, I bet driving the shop car is much more appealing now hahahaha

Loving how there is no drop off at all at the top end.

Wow! Very impressive numbers for only 17psi!! How much do you think the fuel system prototype helped add?

looks great! question tho, I know theres no drop off in power, but theres a drop off in torque. I see about 100lbft from 4.5k rpm to redline. What's causing this much drop off in torque? Boost is holding fine and Ignition adv is increasing and IAT are probably steady.

Is that the much talked about Forge actuators?
If your fueling solution works, just crank up the boost no need for racegas

Because the amount of power to generate 450 torque at 6.8k rpms is way outside the power range of these engines. That would be approximately 580 whp.

is it because theres only so much time the injectors can be open to deliver fuel? Im just asking for what the bottleneck is.

Torque will virtually always drop off at the top end. Remember that torque and hp curves cross at 5252 RPM because they are directly related by this formula:

horsepower = torque x RPM/5252
