It can have vibrated loose, but probably also the blow by oil vapors made the connection very slippery which would eventually cause it to pop out of the c-clamps

mine did the same thing after being installed for about 6 months without issue. Did yours come off the intercooler inlet side or the throttle body side? Mine was throttle body side, but it came off the IC inlet side when I originally installed it due to not being pushed "in" enough.

I've had mine in for over a year with GIAC stage 2 (up to 16psi), no problems so far.

i would say make sure the clamps are on tight...and that the lip on the coupler connected to the throttle body is sitting in the groove. i've had mine on for almost 2 years...have run over 16psi multiple times(daily drive on 15) and never had the charge pipe blow off.

Double check it 'pops' into that groove, tighten the clamp down and you should be fine. If it pops off again and you're positive you had it on correctly shoot us a PM and we'll work out a solution. |

There is no way that thing is going to pop off if installed properly and the clamp is tightened enough. I run 18.5psi daily and haven't had a problem with it. I doubt I could yank that thing off if I tried the way it sits now. The tricky part is the lip on the coupler that sits in the groove of the tb.

i'm thinking the lip on the coupler wasn't properly seated in the groove on the throttle body.....so even if it was clamped....it was sitting flush/tightly enough.
