comp gave up on me, to buy or to repair?
tried to restore it, says successfully restored. when i try to restart, its keep going back to the error screen and recommended me to repair, then its scanning for errors, and can't be fixed, tried to restore it again, still wont restart, scanned all hardware and its green. i know its hard to figure out the exact problem through here, but i'm just....@#$*(#&$*)#&$)#&!!!!!!!!
perhaps its time to look into a new comp, any recommendations? any good deals out there? need something decent & gaming focused. |

is this the first time it's happened and has anything changed before the problem began? I'm gonna assume that you're restoring from a manufacturer's restore image (or a backup that you made)? what's your OS?

started with me restoring my comp cuz its got too much crap, i chose restore to factory setting not knowing it was under vista, then i rebooted and chose to restore from an image i saved 3 months ago under 7 64b, after the restore is complete, it asked me to restart, which i did, thats when its keep going back to error screen, everytime i choose to start window it restarts and forces me to pick repair.

if you want to give up by saying "i am a dummy with computers" (dummy is an overstatement), go with Apple. Apple sucks. Just do a clean install with Win7, you should be good. My PC have been running for 4yrs without any clean install other than upgraded from Win2k3 to Vista64, then to Win7.

get a macbook and pair it was window 7... you get best of both world. The only time I use window 7 is for software programs. OSX is much cleaner and easier to use it. I'm about to upgrade to lion next.
