Hi, I just got my windows tinted.

20% back and 55% front.

on the 55% it looks slightly purple (on the inside,looking out) when the sun shines directly through it.

tint looks black from the outside, and black from the inside, except when the sun is shining directly into the window.

this is only on the 55%. is this due to the tint being lighter? or is this not normal?

The back tint is 3M, not sure if he used the same brand on the front.

I plan on calling them tomorrow and asking, but wanted to hear your experiences on the situation incase he trys to say its normal if its not.

I have 35% 3M sides, 20% back. The sides don't look anything like purple.

Did you specify the brand? Find out what was used on the sides.

he said he used 3M 55% up front. he told me it had something to do with the way the stock windows are?... light shining through the stock window and the tint produces the purple?

Let's see some pics. I am deciding which percent tint so could you post yours
