Is there a way to have welcoming lights without coding?
I have a 06 330i and was wondering if there is anyway to have welcoming lights via angel eyes/ fogs when unlocking the car WITHOUT having to code it and WITHOUT having to buy/install a new FRM module for my car? I heard from one person that theres a way to rewire the welcoming lights from underneath the door handles to the AE. Is this true? Any feedback would be appreciated

Yes you can also tap into the ashtray light or the interior footwell lights, but it's a messy install. I dont think it can be done without FRM module

You can tap the footwell light and wire a diode in line to prevent current from going the wrong way.
I had this for awhile but disconnected it because my passenger side bulb went out....working on a custom headlight now with programmable circuits to control 2 lighting systems for my angel eyes. |
