What would you choose...Look or Car Performance?

Hi,

I have an issue getting my new rims........I just can't decide whether I should go for 18" or 19".......

18" looks too small for E90 wheel well but I won't loose the overall car performances......

19" will reduce performances but the look is just perfect.........

What would you choose?

Woody

Too small? hmm, I think the 18" 162s fit the car perfectly.
I'd go with 18", although the optional 19s are very nice..

I face the same scenario as you and await to see what others say. Although, I am also considering 20's maybe. . .

20" is a bit too much for my taste but I've seen Hartge 20" on E90....
I have to admit "I love it".......

how much are you willing to spend? that is the question. forged rims are very light, but cost a lot.

kt157 asks a good question. If $$ isn't an issue, get a set of 19" BBS forged wheels. That's looks+performance IMO.

Why's that? There are different qualities of "forged" wheels too. BBS is undeniably at the top of the quality scale in terms of the strength of their forged wheels. The same can't be said of some of the other "forged" wheel companies.

true, BBS have been around for a pretty long time, and i know they are quality wheels. i guess i said that is because i cant afford them and if i only had $5k to spend on mods, those wheels wouldn't be my 1st choice. i wouldn't mind get those if money wasn't an issue
