100k- should I do coils with spark plugs?
As a preventative measure should I do the coils at the same time as my plugs? The car is about to have 100k miles.
I have no current issues to tell me that I should do this, but I don't like the idea of being on a road trip and having a failure. Thoughts?

if I remember correctly, the coils aren't terribly expensive, and you have to remove them to do the spark plugs anyway. Might as well put new ones in at the same time.

OK If you are doing plugs and HAVE not changed them in 100K then I would at least do the #5 and #6 coil packs as they are pretty hidden and require a lot more effort to get to (more than just removing cover) coil packs are <$50 each and you dont even need tools o replace them I did mine as they failed, just carried a couple spares in the trunk. its a random failure item but if you have not changed plugs they are gapped out and are requireing more from your coil packs
