Does anyone have Champagne merino leather and piano black trim?

I so, do you have a picture of the interior you could post up please? I've just seen an exterior picture of one and it looks lovely. Can imagine it would be great with the black trims. What do people think?

Below is a link to the champagne colour in a Z4 where they did a run out special of the old shape with this colour leather. I have seen a few of them and the colour is really nice and I am sure the individual leather will be far nicer quality than std.

The only downside is it's expensive from memory and will add no value to your cars residual. I have had lemon which is a little darker than champagne but you still get all black trim apart from the doorcards and seats. I would have a look at Lemon also (if it's still an option) as it's really similar and will be the same price as std leather. Don't let the name lemon put you off it's a off white, creamy colour rather than bright yellow.

That is the most incredible E92 interior I have ever, ever, seen. If you specified that from new you have exceptional taste.

What a car, just stunning.

I think lighter coloured leather with the piano black trim looks really classy.

It was one of the things that attracted me to my car - I've got (extended) bamboo/piano which admittedly is darker than champagne, but along the same lines

Pic on here: http://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=530418

It's the platinum with piano black that I want. But the current piano seems to have a weird insert in it at the dealers. Which I don't like. Has anyone got this in their car? How intrusive in the insert?

Also what are people's view on the extra cost? C £1000 over the standard leather plus £300 for the individual panels. Worth doing?

Thanks! Combined with the Individual Techno Violet paint it really stands out

It's a lot of cash, that's for sure. However, the extended leather option is really nice. In the pictures of mine above, everything that is Platinum coloured is leather, including the bottom half of the dash. The door panels are covered in leather, no plastic top.

Haven't seen the new Piano Black, but mine does scratch easily...

Apologies if I haven't been following your threads. Are you still trying to make your mind up?

Anyhoo, again if it's not relevent then ignore me but be careful adding BMW Individual bits and bobs. They can add an age to your order.

I have Merino Champagne - albeit with anthracite mussle ahorn trims, not the piano black ones.

You can have a look at it under the following link: 335i LCI - review and experiences

Rich. Yes I'm still making my mind up. Although I think I'm there now. I must've been their most annoying customer. And yes you're right the ind leather would add a long time to the order so I've gone with black instead. But it's still lovely.

Can't wait. Just wish I could talk BMW into letting me hVe the darker wheels on the 330d but no go unfortunately.

Well I get to keep the cup for another few weeks. I guess I have to pass it on to someone

Is it out of the question just buying a set from them? There's always the winter wheel set up to consider. And let's face it, it will be winter by the time you get this car

Lux, Ive just read your write-up. Brilliant and brilliant car too. That interior is absolutely spot-on. It's just a case of whether to go for it now. Thanks so much to everyone for taking the time to post.

Also Lux good to hear you've reviewed the premium sound system and found it worth it. Also gives me comfort. While I don't play a Steinway, I know what you mean re piano music and recording quality.

Rich, you can hang on to the cup if you like. Although I suspect if I go back with another spec change (ESP to BMW ind) that I might get lynched and they'll just refuse to do business with me!
