Ohhh...mine's cut out and I was planning on shipping it.
You don't have to worry so much about the warranty. I have not heard of anyone getting hassled because they cut it out. It's too much a hassle for the dealership and/or SA to report to BMW a claim for this and void your warranty. The service manager will just ignore it and tell the tech/SA to just replace the filter and call it a day...IF it even gets to the service manager. If anyone has heard of anyone being hassled about this, I'd for one would love to hear all about it. Quote:
