I just had a SPEC Stage 2+ clutch installed in my car, with their lightweight flywheel. (my clutch was slipping) The car is a 2009, 335i Sedan 6-spd.

My mechanic at a local performance shop tested the factory dual mass flywheel to ensure it was still within factory tolerences (there was a specific procedure to follow in replacement instructions). I believe it was not supposed to move more than 5 teeth when rotating (it only moved 3 teeth) and it was well within the 5mm requirement (forget which one that was)

In removing the flywheel, there were a few hot spots, but he said not bad at all. He then scuffed the face of the flywheel a little, to ensure that it would work even better.

If someone is interested in this flywheel, I'd be willing to let it go for $375 Shipped (within contiguous US). Reasonable offers would be considered. (these are over $1,000 new)

Oh, forgot to mention, this car was completely stock when I bought it (no signs of mods), but apparently, someone before me didn't know how to drive a stick .....
