Brake life in Service-Info
So...I checked the brake life in my service info today...and it said 41000 for the fronts, and 26000 for the rear. How is that possible? Shouldn't it be opposite? And why would they be so far apart? And no, I don't do brakestands every morning

Do you use the cruise control downhill a lot or trigger DSC? Those eat rear rear brakes. Also, BMWs have a lot more rear bias I've noticed. I replaced my rear brakes at 50,000 and my fronts at 80,000.

Yeah, my fronts lasted much longer than my rears also. I got rear brakes done at 48k miles, just before the free service coverage ended. I've got 76k now and need to do front brakes in the next few weeks.
