best time to buy 07's/arrival of 08's
Trying to be strategic and save a little $
When will most 08 328's arrive at dealers? When that happens, isn't that the best time to snatch whatever 07's are left on lot? How much of a deal do you think I could get? |

If you're not particular about color or options, this is a good plan. The best time to deal is when the 2008's start coming into inventory and they need to clear out the 2007's. That will be in Sept, Oct.

Yeah, it really depends on your preferences and flexibility. Also, on how long you plan to keep the car.
Cars are valued based on model year. If you buy "leftover" inventory then the car is essentially a year old when you buy it. It seems stupid but it's true. Nothing wrong with that, if you are getting a good deal with that considered. But then if you want to sell it or trade it in a year or two you will be behind the eight ball on residual value. Again, depending on the discount you got up front.
