So how did it look? I was thinking about vinyl wrapping my car with Matte White vinyl. My only worry was it would just look like an unpainted body

this is the only color i'd consider, matte black and gray are so played out imo. I think matte white is something youd only notice up close and would look pretty sweet. would go great with red interior

Ohh...I feel like the matte white with a red interior could be beautiful. Maybe matching matte white trim? Or would that be too much? I'd want to see that in person before doing it. But matte white could look great, go for it!

I was thinking about that too. Matte white exterior, change the CF wrapped interior into Matte White. Maybe it'd be a little much lol. Maybe two-tone CF with matte white. I've got a coupon for the scotchprint 1080 matte white vinyl lol

Sure, there's already matte black and matte gray (frozen black and gray respectively) from BMW, but it would cost a LOT of money. Vinyl is a much cheaper option, but if you really want the best quality, then go for it.

Well I think in terms of durability, vinyl might be better anyway. only issue is it will eventually have to be replaced if your car is in the sun all the time, which can be a PITA. but, so does paint. lol.
Vinyl doesn't chip like paint does |

definitely dont paint it unless you're willing to pay for it professionally done, matte vinyl will get you the look without the wallet pain and also will protect the paint.
do ittt |
