actually they have the whitelines for the E90. Last year I bought it from the ECS tuning, and it was quite cheap ($149 shipped). It looks quite nice though.

The 'whitelines' mentioned are more commonly referred to as Hella Clearlines and imo look good only on AW cars.
LCI Tails can be made to look like blacklines (not sure about whitelines but don't see why not). The issue is the red lenses. If we had access to completely clear lenses such as on the whitelines or half clear half red lenses such as on pre-LCI blacklines, it's not too difficult (just time consuming) to remove the red lenses from the tails, mask off/remove the important components and paint a dark gunmetal color (as on blacklines + whitelines). Then it's easy to reassemble with the new clear lenses and some silicone. A company with the experience such as Hella or Depo needs to step in and start manufacturing these lights. The absence of any aftermarket options, even cheap chinese ones tells me that most likely BMW's possibly doing something different to keep companies from ignoring their design patents in recreating the tails. **if anyone here knows someone with an injection molding capability and can produce lenses, we'd have our solution (+ a few hours of labor) |

I got these from ECS a year ago. They were way cheaper than OEM. I like it but I couldve gone either way.
