ceramic tint
I was wondering if anybody has heard of ceramic tint fading like the old dye tints? I know that ceramic tints are supposed to be electronic friendly for CA and such but I read somewhere that apparently it's also the fastest fading tint. I was under the impression that ceramic tint is one step above metallic tint and that it doesn't fade. Can anybody chime in and clarify?

No. Ceramic is the best possible tint you can buy. Only cheap dyed crap fades these days. Ceramic isnt dyed, it uses ceramic nanoparticles.

A good tint shop will also guarantee ceramic tint against color change and fading.

That would be spellcheck police, just joking, I can tell you were on an iPhone. I have ceramic tint, Geoshield Dark Matter 35%, I'm not a fan of it's appearance at certain angles. It has a silverish reflection sometimes and can look like that ghetto silver tint. I would have just gone with standard tint and saved some money if I had to do it over again.

Just know that standard tint will reduce your remote range, screw up comfort access, and possibly interfere with radio and GPS reception.

Correcting spelling of the brand names is not "grammar police". It is just a common courtesy every person feels obliged to extend. As for correcting the use of "there" instead of "their" - that's a divine duty, a calling no one can resist. 'ceb' just happened to be faster than the rest of the people here. |
