MP3s skipping?
Anyone else have problems with the non-Nav stereo skipping on MP3s? Is it a problem with the stereo, is it just finicky, did I burn a bum CD?

i have not had any problems using MP3 cds, and that is all I use.
what software are you using to burn the CD? Nero is pretty good. that makes a difference and the type of blanks also makes a difference sometimes. the no-name stuff usually have more coasters in a spindle than the brand name stuff. |

Using Nero 6, of course, in a Plextor burner with generic office depot 700MB CD-Rs.
I've never had problems burning coasters before. Then again I've never burned data CDs (vs music CDs) for use in non-PCs. I'll try burning them again, maybe on a higher quality CD-R.

Yes
I have an Idrive and can play mp3s. I notice that sometimes with I hit certain buttons, the mp3 skips to the next song. For instance, I'll hit the turn signal, or windshield wipers, and the song will advance. Might be a bug.

-Use Good BrandName blank CDs
-make sure you close all other programs when burning music -always burn your music with a Slow speed (4X, 8X ) -and try to keep cell phones away (Not sure about this one) hope this helps...

Ends up it was just a random coaster. I burned another copy and it was fine.
Screwy CDRs.
