First, where did this guy get his a-pillar boost gauge. I think I could see doing this mod in my car. I like it better than the vent-pod method. Last thing I want is an obstruction in the A/C path here in Texas!

and Second, what's the deal with the bong about 1/2 way into his sprint? Did he just throw a code? It's like he doesn't even take note! That would certainly make me step back and take a look if I got that sound during acceleration. I hope this isn't to be expected normally...

It's the vei one, I have it but they are no longer being made you would have to find a used one

The sound is just caused by exceeding the "speed limit" you can set in iDrive.

You have a v5 so why not set the gas gauge to show boost and switch the center readout to show miles until empty. Works great and saves a few hundred with nothing obstructing the air vent.
