lower grill inserts...help

I got my car used and the lower grill inserts are missing where the intercoolers are. I bought some online but am having trouble getting them in. Is it necessary for me to take off the front bumper or is there a trick to it?

You have to take the bumper off. There's 4 tabs on them and don't think you could get it with bumper on.
Might as well paint them now if you were thinking about it.

I took and put a new one on and off without removing anything.
you need a couple of hook tools, one to push the tab down and the other to pull from behind, it took me 5min at most to remove and replace the center one!

Remove the air duct and use your finger to push the tab out. That should take care of the grill.
