thats a Huge price jump for quad tips. Is there anything actually different for the quads other just the tips them selves?
thats $260 for changing about 4-5 inches of piping |

Went to the website, they sound great!
What is the difference of Racing vs. Meisterschaft? Any pics of 2x90 on car and 2x102 on car (for comparison)? Is sectionIII-only 50-state CARB? Any numbers on changes from stock exhaust with respect to noise levels (idle in neutral, max in 1st gear, at 50mph, at 70mph)? Thanks. |

In the second link above you stated this: With section 2 and 3 options, (2nd Cat-back), you will not have any emission problems for sure. CARB is actually more than not having problems. As far as I know to pass smog with aftermarket pipes/cans in California, the parts need to actually have a CARB certificate from the manufacturer. When you get your car smogged, they don't just run the emissions test and all is OK if you pass (unless your tester doesn't care). This means that Eisenhaus would have to get the section III certified for CARB in CA. I used to own Flowmaster pipes for another car and that was the deal then at least (just a few years ago). Is Eisenhaus planning to get the CARB certificate? Thanks. |
