Question with squeaky brakes
I want to bring in my 335 to the dealer for the squeaking brakes many people encounter, is it a big deal if i leave the JB4 on? I just want them to look at the brakes before I go out of warranty - probably replace the rear pads and rotors.
If I take off the JB4, I'll start getting a check engine light for no front cats, thought it would be less hassle just leaving it in. as long as they don't need to touch the computer.

they shouldnt be doing any computer work... but if you havent done the new HPFP recall, they will tell you to do that, and you probably want to get it all done at once. There is no software update for this recall though, just parts. So i think you should be ok.

Typically they will go ahead and do the flash for the HPFP. They ran it on my car when it was in for regular maint. it wiped my custom coding of course :/
