320d performance
Hi all not sure if its just me but I drove an Astra CDTI150 around yesterday and it made my 320d feel utterly slow. It just seemed to rev more freely and pick up better.
I am not whether it the car's refinement which dulls the speed sensation or whether there is something wrong with my car! Although my 320d (163) is smooth it just doesnt seem to have the get up and go my previous VAGs have had. Any ideas folks? Cheers Fad |

So map it. Will up her to 210bhp and be CONSIDERABLY faster than a chavstra.
Principal issue is e90 is a heavier car than astra assuming you mean the hatch. But the map will sort it good.

I've mapped my last three cars and I swore I wouldnt do it this time as its cost me a turbo each time lol! I think the whole thing about the car being heavier could be the reason.
The thing is I want to be sure its healthy and right before I go any further as mapping will just compound any potential probelm the car may have. |

The BMW engine is considerably smoother than the equivalent VAG's etc, in my opinion. This does make it feel a little slower but it covers the ground fast enough and as Dave says map it!
